Just like any other biome, we need to pay great attention to mother nature and the importance of certain biomes. Even though each biome is different and the same in many different ways, they all play a large part in the Earth's ecosystem. One is not more important than the other, they are all equally important. We believe that every biome should remain minimally harmed and protected by all means. The South African Savanna (tropical grasslands) need to be protected for numerous reasons. One of the reasons is that it provides loads of oxygen through the carbon cycle. Without this biome, the rest of the world would lack oxygen and connections. The savanna has a special ecological connection with the forest and prairies. Another big role this biome serves is the home for many organisms (plants & animals). Destroying the homes of many animals will force them to move on in which they might not be able to adapt and survive. We need to protect this South African savanna because the world's ecosystem would fall down like a big jenga tower. Nonetheless, this is is a beautiful biome and should be kept in its natural state so our children and our children's children will be able to experience the beauty of this biome.
